BDDB2B

Frequently asked questions

What is BDDB2B United Arab Emirates?

It is a B2B database and observatory for the seven emirates of the UAE: it lists organisation records with their source and shows aggregated figures by emirate, activity group and free zone.

Which emirates are covered?

Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Does the database include free zones such as DIFC, ADGM, JAFZA or DMCC?

Records that mention a free zone in their name or address are tagged with it. This is an indication drawn from the public name or address, not an official boundary.

Where does the data come from?

Mainly from OpenStreetMap (ODbL), plus public registers and directories (such as Ajman Data) and the public pages of organisations, each with its terms of reuse recorded.

Do you publish personal emails or names?

No. Only generic organisation addresses are kept, and no individual is published.

Can I buy the data?

Not yet. The shop is closed. You can describe your need on the contact page.

Does the site follow UAE data protection law?

We process business data about organisations and take Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 into account. A legal review of each source is under way; you can request removal at any time.

Are company names translated?

No. Names stay as published by their source, in English or Arabic.
